The purpose of Zero Net Energy Homes ^{SM TM} is to promote energy security by developing and offering Zero Net Energy Home building solutions. Our current focus is on establishing a whole-house systems methodology, incorporating Passive House building envelope design and renewable energy systems that have the least ecological and global warming impact possible. Specifically, we give first preference to on-site self-sufficient energy systems that do not require solar photovoltaic semiconductor or battery production. Such technologies have non-trivial environmental impacts and rely on the extraction of critical minerals.

Our primary focus is on new single-family home builds. In addition, we are performing ongoing research and development of integrated geothermal and solar thermal air and water heating and cooling systems with thermal energy storage, as well as thermal-driven Stirling and Organic Rankine Cycle engines for producing electricity, and compressed air energy storage for long term electricity needs. Researcher, manufacturer, and university inquiries regarding research, technology licensing, and original equipment manufacturing (OEM) welcome.

We are now acquiring distressed homes in Maryland (especially Montgomery and Carroll counties) and Pennsylvania (especially Pittsburgh, plus Chester, Lancaster, Berks, Lehigh, and Northampton counties) for the purpose of retrofitting as much as is practical in accordance with the EnerPHit Passive House Standard. These homes are then made available for sale or lease.

We are also available to provide passive house consulting services for subdivision projects.

In addition, we seek to provide international development services in the area of passive house and renewable energy system design, and water harvesting and reclamation, at scale for significant government projects.

Ancillary services to be made available include permaculture Food Landscape Design Services, well building consulting services, water harvesting and reclamation, and indoor food production systems.
